Beds

I love my bed. When I am away for a few days and return home I say to myself, "I can't wait to get into my own bed."

A bed is a place where we go to rest, where we go to have a nap.

We go up to out rooms for some peace and quiet, to lie on our bed and chill.

We watch TV in bed, read in bed, eat in bed, and have intimate conversations in bed. We make babies in bed, and practice making babies in bed.

We tell our children to go to bed, to stay in bed, to make their beds.

We sit on the edge of our beds to put on our socks, put on our pants, to talk on the phone.

Often I can't wait to get into bed. Other times I can't wait to get out of bed.

Once you get used to the size of your bed, it is hard to sleep in anything else. There are twin beds, double or full size beds, Queen beds and great big king size beds. Often when deciding what size of bed to get, you have to consider the size of your Bedroom. You need lots of space to put a king size bed in there.

If you sleep alone a queen size bed gives you lots of room. If you sleep with a partner, often a king size bed is the best choice.

Bunk beds are popular for kids especially when they have sleep overs. Futon beds are good for extra sleeping at a cottage or in the basement.

We spend a lot of time in bed. If we average 8 hours of sleep a night, then we are in bed for a minimum of 56 hours a weeks. Add on reading, watching TV, making love, having breakfast or taking a nap and you've got a lot of time spent in bed.
