Carpets and rugs are an important part of any home. They cover the floor and are soft to walk on. There are many different types of carpets and rugs and they vary in thickness and length.

Some people enjoy waking up in the morning and stepping onto their shag carpet because it is nice and soft. In some cases where you don't want to install an entire carpet, it is possible to lay down a rug. Rugs are usually smaller than the area of the floor and leave a border of the floor beneath. Sometimes you can put an area rug on top of an existing carpet to give the room layers by using different carpet and rug patterns.
