Kitchen Rugs
A nice addition to any kitchen is the kitchen rugs. Kitchen rugs are generally a simple decoration for an otherwise drab kitchen floor. One of the downfalls of the kitchen rug is that it is in an area of high food traffic. That means that the likelyhood of spilling something on your kitchen rug is greater than any other room of your house.
When choosing your kitchen rug, make sure the pattern compliments the rest of the kitchen. If your kitchen is cow themed, get a kitchen rug with a picture of a cow on it.
Probably one of the biggest benefits of the kitchen rug, aside from its appearance, is that it provides you with a non slip surface. Make sure that your kitchen rug has a rubber bottom though so that it doesn't absorb any spills from underneath on the floor.
