Christmas Music

What is your taste in music? Whether it is hip hop, jazz, country, rock or anything in-between, you will have no problem finding Christmas music to suit your taste.

The Christmas music available in the stores is incredible. It would seem that every artist make a Christmas CD. They take traditional Christmas music and arrange it to suit their style. The words usually stay the same but the way it is sung can be very different.

Take the traditional Christmas music sung by a church choir for example. Usually a quiet selection of carols and songs sung in church over the Christmas season.

Then there is the hip hop artist who takes the traditional Christmas music and turns it into loud, in your face kind of music enjoyed by those that are into that style of music I am sure.

Christmas music gets played pretty well everywhere you go in December. In the elevators at work, in the washrooms at work, on the phone when you are put on hold, in the stores, in restaurants, in hospitals and on just about every radio station you choose to listen to.

For the first few days I find myself really enjoy the Christmas music. I get into the mood and sing along,. By about day 10 I find myself getting sick of the Christmas music I keep hearing over and over again.

Carolers often wonder through the malls singing their favorite Christmas music. They are usually dressed up in "olden day" outfits from years gone by. You wouldn't catch me doing that. There is something calming and peaceful about it though. When I hear those voices coming through the mall as I try to get my shopping finished, it helps me to slow down and enjoy the season.
