Wall Decor

Wall décor, contrary to popular belief in the idiot community, does not really mean wallpaper. Rather, wall décor refers to all manner of objects that can enhance, ruin, showcase or spoil the look of your home décor. Some people live wall décor, others consider wall décor tasteless and unnecessary. Much of the time, it depends on the nature of the wall décor as to whether it compliments or destroys the aesthetics of your home décor.

One great idea is to make your wall décor original and also to make your wall décor reflect your style or lack thereof. If you are a reader, your wall décor could include an in wall magazine rack to house your reading materials. Flowers around the home are always nice so why not make wall vases the centerpiece of your wall décor. There are many other ideas for wall décor such as photo frames, wind chimes of that doyen of wall décor, the mirror. Wall décor should reflect who you are so in the case of mirrors, the number you have will tell your guests how vein and in love with yourself you are.

Many people love pets and this can be shown in your wall décor choices. An iron dog bell or a cat picture may look hideous to most right thinking people with eyes, but if that is your idea of stylish wall décor, go for it. I once went to a home which had wall décor in the form of a flashing neon Budwieser light. Now that is what I call hideous wall décor, not to mention really bad beer.
