Garden Fountain

It's interesting to see what people do with a garden fountain. Often it is really large and in the middle of the back yare. It is the focal point of their yard.

A garden fountain can be really relaxing and soothing. Listening to the water trickle down as it falls from one level to the other.

Many garden fountains have a tall statue of a person standing there spewing water from thier mouth. Others are in the shape of an animal while others are just decorative but not shaped like a person or animal.

Some garden fountains are really small and sit in the corner of a deck or on the edge of a patio. It is there for the purpose of helping you to relax. It helps you to quiet your mind and get away from the everyday noise.

Some garden fountains incorporate plants and flowers for a pretty show. They put pots of flowers on the different ledges on each level and plant greenery around the base of the fountain.

Garden fountains can be found at the front of apartment buildings in a small garden that can be seen when you walk up to the building. It makes for a good place to meet someone outside of your apartment building. It also makes the front of the building interesting and more attractive. This may help the apartments stay rented because people like the look of the front of the building.

It would be fun to design garden fountains. You would have to take the size of the garden into consideration and the taste of the owners. Some people like a casual unobtrusive look while others want to make a big statement. Some want it off to the side with a bench beside it where they can walk out and sit.

My garden fountain would be small but classy looking. I would hope it would attract birds that may come and take a drink. I would like to put goldfish in the fountain but I wonder if the motor would suck them up.

Fish would attract cats to the backyard and that wouldn't be so good. I have a dog. Maybe I will pass on the fish in the garden fountain.
