Pool Cover

The first thing to remember is that without a pool cover, you pool will be uncovered. Without a pool cover, your pool is exposed and open to all manner of bugs, vermin and undesirable objects which your jealous neighbours throw over the fence. A pool cover protects you against all these things. One small tip: when you put your pool cover on in a drunken state at night, before you dive in for your morning swim, make sure the pool cover has been removed. Landing on a pool cover is not quite as refreshing as a dip in the pool.

Your swimming pool should be your pride and joy, unless you have a really nice car, and a pool cover is a great way to protect it. Most people think a pool cover is not as pretty as the glistening water in the moonlight. They are right. That said, if you get drunk at your barbecue and fall on the pool cover, you are not going to drown. Without the pool cover, the pool becomes a dangerous hazard for the intoxicated. With a pool cover, you are getting security, safety and the ability to stop your dog urinating in the pool when you are at work.

With a swimming pool, cleaning can be way too much hard work. Get a pool cover and you can hide all manner of filth. Your pool cover allows you to be lazy and have another beer instead of actually cleaning the disgusting scum off the side of your swimming pool. Most people clean their pool frequently, but those with a pool cover are more likely to do it less. Pool cover owners are either lazy or they are so rich they pay the pool boy to clean the pool and the pool cover as well.

So get a pool cover; it may ruin the look of the pool but at least you won't get covered in bugs and filth when you have a swim. That is the value of a pool cover.
